TwitAhead Twitting Scheduler Installation Guide.
Install Steps:
1. upload all files to the server
2. chmod 777 the templates/templates_c directory
3. Go to your cpanel and create a user and a database
4. Add the user to the database
5. run install.php and follow the steps..
Install Notes:
a. Use 'localhost' for database
server
b. Leave the Table Prefix field
empty if you do not know what it means.
System Setting Notes:
a. Show Users Per Page: 10
<--how many users per page you'll see in admin.
b. Show Messages per Page:
10 <--how many messages per page users will see while using the
Tycoon Scheduler.
c. Messages per Hour: 10
<-- the number of messages you will allow users to send per hour. It's
recommended you keep this number low to avoid abuse of your system. 10-20
tweets per hour should be plenty, but it's YOUR site - you make the
rules!
d. Days before delete messages:
10 <-- this is the number of days you want to the sent messages
on your server for users to view. If you have plenty of hosting store
space, you could allow 30 days. If your space is limited we suggest 10
days.
6. delete install.php
7. set a cronjob to include/cron.php for every 5 minutes. (this Cron handles
tweets)
8. set a cronjob to include/cron_mail.php for every 20 minutes. (this Cron handles
emails)
Cron Settings to paste in your cpanel for MOST
servers:
php -q /home/YOUR
USERNAME/DIRECTORY/include/cron_mail.php
php -q /home/YOUR USERNAME/DIRECTORY/include/cron.php
